While the process we use to apply your photos to our items is a bit magical it can not fix a bad image. A modern cell phone picture, taken in good light, with a steady hand can work very well. It is important to be sure the phone camera is set to take the largest image it can as reducing size increases sharpness but trying to enlarge such a photo just blows it up.

Make sure that the subject is fully within the image. A little space on all sides makes it easier to crop it to produce the best image for transfer to our products. Also, saving the photo as a JPEG or PNG format works well for these processes.
